The holidays have a habit of inspiring more than just family feasts and gatherings. Whatever it is in the air, we find a fair share of holiday engagements during the months of November through January. Before we share more of our favorite tips for Fall tablescapes, we thought we’d blast “All I Want for Christmas Is You” and reminisce a favorite wedding from Keestone Events.
Inspiration for the Ceremony
Jessica Fuentes wed Quincy Acy with help from lead event designer Sarah Key of Keestone Events in July of 2017. (Read more about the couple and designer here.) While the couple originally wanted an outdoor wedding, the Texas summer heat quickly put that idea to rest. Jessica did not want the hundred degree heat but still liked the idea of lots of natural light. Sarah knew the perfect venue would be The Westin Downtown Dallas Ballroom with 360 degree panoramic windows with a skylight ceiling. Once the venue was decided, the stylish bride and groom wanted to keep a timeless wedding palette of white, ivory, and champagne hues that would reflect the airy feel of the event space but with a modern approach.
Modern Reception Decor
To create a stunning aesthetic that checked all of the boxes, Sarah brought in the Villa Clear Ballroom Chairs and arranged them in a circular pattern to match the 360 degree view of the Westin Ballroom. An already stunning scene was elevated to simply unforgettable with this one magical addition.
The beauty of the evening was further reflected during the reception with glass chargers and plates, sheer heart ivory linens, and Victoria and Louis Kartell Ghost Chairs. (Tell us picking the right chair can't make or break a room!)
