Cheers to a New Year

Set the intention for a brand new year with these transformation tablescapes.

Slay the dashing dinner scene by bringing the proper aplomb to the party. This design is on the house thanks to the SLE Team.

It should come as no surprise that the ladies and gents of Social Llama Events love a theme. With a fresh spin on traditional, they bring personality and pizazz to everything they touch–especially these holiday tablescapes. See how they make everything merry and bright with the three Christmas tablescapes below

New Year’s Eve Dinner Party

Untamed and on-trend, Social Llamas Events designed this luxurious leopard orchard tablescape with our favorite after-dark table dressings. Deep onyx and stunning gold inspire an air of celebration, as does a personalized place seating complete with individual champagne splits and party favors. Call the girls, or better yet, send a cheeky hi-note to the group text. We meet at midnight!

Style Notes: Leopard is the print of the moment. To complement this trend, SLE chose beautiful black moments with the Mila Chair in Black Velvet and Godinger Terre d'Or Black Coupe Dinner Set--perfect for entertaining with its matte black finish and thick organic gold rim. Together, they bring a sultry, sensuous pleasure to the table. A light element was needed to balance out the more monochromatic accents, which called for the fun contemporary vibes of the Carrie Wine and Carrie Cosmo Collections. Peach was the perfect color to pull out the warmth of the leopard orchards.

New Year’s Day Brunch

A transformational year is upon us. You’ve earned your wings this year so it’s finally time to make a wish with his butterfly-focused brunch. We love how this tablescape asks you to strike a match and blow out your own candles with a fun custom Paper Planet Design paper suite. This could be a morning-after moment from the previous tabletop since they contain a few of the same elements, or it could be solely a New Year’s Day moment for those who normally fall asleep before the ball drops. Wake up refreshed and enjoy the ritual of setting new intentions around the table.

Style Notes: Just like a leopard print, neon can actually work as a neutral. We love the hot pink and bright lime accents, which are further grounded by the deeper tones and textures of Black Velvet around the table. This combo makes for an eye-catching and mood-lifting tablescape, perfect for starting the year off right.
