FALL RESET: If you know Texans, you know as soon as the first crisp breeze graces our cheeks, we’re kicking up our heels (and boots, of course) and dressing tables as wonderfully layered as our wardrobe. Our mind immediately pivots from the lazy days of summer to grand entertaining on the lawn, in the great hall, or honestly, anywhere we can pull a table together and sit down to friends with love, laughter, and beauty.
A consistent style benefits from the spontaneity and curiosity (not to mention sustainability) of the P.O.S.H. approach. Wildly flamboyant to austere minimalism, no theme is too far from reach with a little pretty P.O.S.H. persuasion. We’re talking luxury rentals here, darling. Consider this your official invitation to dive deeper into pattern play curated by amazing local planners with our Fall Designer Series. Plan a visit to our showroom for the full sensory experience or browse digitally by checking back here throughout the season.
Thank you to the wonderful creatives you’ll meet over the next few months. In true Texas form, there are no shrinking violets here; these tablescapes came to play.
P.S. A standing ovation for our showroom photography Tamytha Cameron, who beautifully captures the personality and angle of every tablescape. We love you.
Now, let’s spin some plates.
NAME TO KNOW: JACKSON DURHAM EVENTS + HAYLIE PAIGE EVENTS
How do you coax poetry out of an evening? Setting the table helps, if we do say so ourselves. There is an innate skill to storytelling through tablescaping. The well-set feast for the eyes narratives a passion and enthusiasm for culture, people, ambiance, and, of course, beauty. Each artful element serves, quite literally, as an accentuation of function and purpose. You’ll have smell, taste, and texture with gastronomic delights but the atmospheric gold lives and breaths just as much upon the interior ingredients. The hand-painted edge of the charger, the curve of a soup bowl, the perfect weight and dimension of cutlery, the delicate ease of the perfect amuse-bouche dish, the florals–and if it's this dynamic collaboration between Haylie Paige Events and Jackson Durham Events, one can’t help but squeal in delight THE FLORALS! Wasn’t it the iconic Charles Eames that said, “The details are not the details...They make the design.” Indeed.
Jackson Durham and Haylie Paige Events both compose a polished cadence to their work, blurring the lines between interior and exterior in a way that is at once residential and otherworldly, into what is ultimately a debonair ballad to an unforgettable evening. This craftmanship evokes two words you long for guests to feel at your table–bespoke and sobremesa. Bespoke is at the heart of Jackson Durham’s visual language–the English word literally defined as “made to order” while sobremesa is the Spanish translation of “upon the table” –the tradition of relaxing around the table after a heavy meal. Such a spell begins after dessert is served and lingers much longer during the spirited season of the holidays.
When these Dallas/Fort Worth event connoisseurs combine, you can expect bold yet approachable style and all the aesthetic elements of an enjoyable and lively timeless party. It is said when you love what you do, it shows. Thank you, friends, for sharing such joy with us. Now, let’s get to the table talk.

Whether it’s an intimate soirée or a grand philanthropic event, these teams will orchestrate all your event décor needs to create a thoughtfully and exquisitely designed event. Our talented and experienced team can accommodate any event style – modern, residential, eclectic. It will be our pleasure to work with you to accomplish your vision and create a lasting memory for you and your guests.
What inspires your designs?
With our clients, we create a design that is tailored to fit their individual styles and needs. In the Pinterest world that we live in, with so much accessible via the web, it’s more important than ever to focus on unique and fresh ways of seeing things. Trends will come and go, but a classic design, unique to each of our clients, will stand the test of time. Our clients become part of our family, and we are deeply invested in creating lifelong relationships and memories.
How would you create a head table for a wedding or family gathering?
The head table should command a presence and give a beautiful and comfortable place to sit for dinner. Here’s Jackson Durham’s timeless recipe to always get the look: First, we start by pulling design elements that reflect our client's personal style. Next on the checklist, we make sure the design feels residential, because who doesn’t feel wonderful in a beautiful home? (If it is in a home, we pull from the interiors as well.) Lastly, we make sure that everything we’ve chosen beautifully complements the design of the room.
READY FOR THE CLOSE UP
Tablescape Vibe:
An emotion that gives value to your experience, from the lighting all the way down to the comfort of the chair, is the very definition of a signature style–only elevated. If Van Gogh is right, and of course he is, one can speak poetry by arranging colors and textures. This tablescape innately connects all of the tonal and textural dots for an exquisite experience.
Palette + Pattern:
With the perfect weave and subtle color, this custom Schumacher 1889 “creeping-fern” fabric made the most exquisite linens to put a Florida tented wedding on a pedestal for all to enjoy. When recreating this timeless modernity for the P.O.S.H. showroom, the team conjured a divine divine look with compliments by way of the Marie Daâge Champagne Agate and Cutipol Cutlery. We also adore how the paper suite reflects the Schumacher pattern perfectly. An elegant, cohesive detail from Carly Co. Creativethat is not to be missed.
Conversation Piece:
Without a doubt, the elegant rattan lighting hanging above the table infuses a spirit of revelry and delight. Let it glow, let it glow, let it glow!
Table and Chair:
Never forget the power of the flower or a comfortable pedestal to perch. How can you linger long after a meal if the chair is uncomfortable, unsteady, or, TBH, ugly? The Denmark mid-century modern seat echoes the sophistication of the interiors (or exteriors) and properly stands out in high-traffic aisles. It is so effortlessly chic, it’s perfectly at ease in even the most extraordinary settings.
Dress Up:
A lot of thought goes into a sublime first impression. For the team that calls classic their comfort zone, we see the enduring elegance of Ralph Lauren and West Gordon/Carolina Herrera all day. And if you want to bring a little more personality to the table, vintage Halston with Brian Atwood is a slow clap or a hat tip depending on which side of the DFW metroplex you land.
