It's that time of year again. We're flipping the showroom from light pastels to rich jewel tones, swapping bright white for subdued shades of cream and ivory, and trading out our rattan chairs for rich velvet seating. You know, haute Fall stuff.

We're talking about Mom's 63rd birthday. Your 38th solar return. The odd-year anniversary dinner. Your best friend's promotion. And the most best, a no reason other than good weather wine night with your best gal group. Now, we don't have to make this hard. Put out the personal antiques, tchotchkes, and tokens on the table, and call us (or your event planner) to fill in the place settings and chairs. Not only do you get the fun of picking out a new place setting, but you also have the privilege of delivery or pickup with zero dishwashing or putting away on your behalf. Not even Mother could promise that!
FRENCH GIRL FARMHOUSE AESTHETIC
If you know us, you know we adore our Parisian antiques. For the showroom, we flipped our favorite Farmhouse table into a visually poetic Fall feast fit for our very own city chic chateau courtyard. The goal was to create a roomy tablescape where conversation and wine could flow, surrounded by beautiful things, without being stuffy. Stacked books (good for conversation or aesthetics), dried amaranth and greenery, and bronze chalices overflowing with a profusion of snackable centerpieces featuring grapes, pears, and figs worked as a fool-proof table runner. For the French girl Fall to keep its course, there needed to be a certain chicness and je ne sais quoi attitude imbued in every element. To put it simply, we chose iconic pieces that felt effortless on the table. Floral designs, check. Ginori 1735 Oriente Italiano and Mottahedeh Lace, check. Richly hued purples, crimson, vermillion, Fuschia, pear, and plum, oh my! Check, check, and check! [Pro Tip: We highly encourage calling in a style that speaks to your foodie or hosting needs alongside your aesthetic and cast away any outdated notion that says you can mix contemporary or classic pieces.] The best part of a Just Because dinner is being in the no pressure zone. This is a lighthearted tablescaping practice for your more serious hosting duties come the holidays.
TEXTURE FOR FALL, GROUNDBREAKING
We know it seems self-evident, but the concept of the perfect Fall Autumn tablescape lies heavily in the tones and textures of your rental selections. If you have a personal china pattern at home you'd like to use, choose a heavier rental charger with an elemental charge, like wood, thick rattan, or metal to serve up those daintier wedding or passed-down heritage patterns. If you have a lot going on with your place setting, pick one strong Fall hue to work for your glassware, but select several shades of the same color family for a striking visual. This wine-forward place setting called for a mix of three glass collections - The Stella (with Light and Dark Purple wine glasses), the Daphne water goblet in light purple, and the new Carrie Cosmo in Red, which we used an after-dinner dessert dish here.
